Dr. Lowell Gordon, MD

Dr. Gordon is a Board-certified Pediatrician with an MBA from Berkeley, California, who combines his medical expertise with strategic business acumen as the founder of LGMedicalConsulting.

 

During clinical residency, Dr. Gordon recognized the potential to impact more lives by improving healthcare systems and made the decision to move into healthcare leadership, although he still continues to practice medicine and see pediatric patients in the exam room one day per week.

 

His journey includes consulting with Ernst & Young and spearheading successful partnerships between physicians and hospitals in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Dr. Gordon's roles expanded to include serving as CFO for a low-income Women’s clinic and as Medical Director of the State Medicaid Program.

 

Upon returning to California, Dr. Gordon has held pivotal roles as Medical Director of a physician-led MediCal IPA and Chief Medical Officer of a Federally Qualified Health Center, overseeing 15,000+ patients and 20+ providers.
